After Nate died, the scene where Tessa watched Jessie – alone – try to carve J.G. into the stone, only to have her ring crumple; broke my heart. She didn’t deserve what happened. She deserved to be happy. What Nate did – tricking her - was wrong and evil.
The whole time I wanted Nate to truly love Jessie, because – she was – in the end, just a hopeless romantic girl who’d fallen in love. Even if it wasn’t real.
